Congratulations to the graduates of IBTE’s 32nd Convocation Ceremony!
Graduation day is more than just a ceremony; it’s the celebration of years of hard work, dedication and growth.
It’s the moment when all those late nights, early mornings and countless hours of studying finally pay off.
For many, it’s a time to reflect on the journey—from the challenges and setbacks to the friendships and triumphs that made it all worthwhile.
AICREATIVV’s recent interns—Zaid, Alimin, Aiman, Muna and Liza—were also among the 1,512 graduates.
We spoke to Liza and Aiman on their journey and plans ahead:
Liza couldn't be prouder of herself for finishing her studies, especially after two tough years of pushing through every challenge.
Sure, her journey was packed with exams, assignments, presentations and business projects that took serious time and energy, but now, looking back, she feels it was all worth it for the results achieved.
One of her biggest highlights was being chosen to lead her group in the Digital Marketing module.
"At first, I wasn't confident and didn't feel good enough to be a leader but knew I wanted to give it a try."
As she stepped up, she found her rhythm balancing professional and personal relationships and with her team’s support, managed to score an A.
When she first joined IBTE, Liza’s goal was to dive deeper into business—especially marketing. Towards the end, she learned way more than she expected, especially from hands-on projects like managing finances and planning with her team.
One of her most memorable moments was presenting in front of students, AICREATIVV and guest companies. It was both terrifying and thrilling, but an experience she’ll never forget.
At AICREATIVV, Liza took courses in storytelling for freelancers and social media copywriting—picking up skills on brand voice and visual storytelling.
Her role there included translating content, crafting social media captions and even helping out in production for AICREATIVV’s Bake Off Challenge. From camera setups to lighting, she got a crash course in production essentials.
Looking forward, she’s set on continuing her studies at Politeknik Brunei, focusing on entrepreneurship and marketing strategies.
For Aiman, graduating was a huge win and the perfect payoff for two years of hard work. He’s especially proud of getting through all his modules without resits—proof that his efforts paid off.
When he started at IBTE, he was ready to soak up everything they had to offer and by the time he left, he’d learned way more than just academics.
"I learned a lot, not just academically but the six-month industrial attachment taught me a lot about work and life."
Some of Aiman’s best memories are from times spent with friends and his internship at AICREATIVV, where the team felt more like family than coworkers.
His mentors were always ready to guide and support him, giving him hands-on experience with business operations, meetings and even production.
Under Imamull, Elroy and Amaru’s guidance, he got to direct his first shoot, which was a major milestone.
Looking ahead, Aiman’s open to whatever opportunity comes his way—whether it’s continuing his studies or jumping straight into a job.
AICREATIVV’s CEO and Co-founder, Imamull Qhaeer who oversees management, brand strategy and business development, was their adjunct lecturer for the Digital Marketing Module.
He had a few words to say about the interns:
Aiman
As a student, Aiman was known for his cheeky personality and occasional off-the-cuff jokes during lectures. Despite his jokester nature, he was always the first to support classmates who needed help.
During his internship, he proved to be a quick learner, completing tasks swiftly and offering assistance even beyond his assigned duties. His helpful nature remained strong at AICREATIVV and his eagerness to grow has inspired the team.
Aiman, now that you’ve graduated, please continue to be of value to those around you—as a friend and brother. Once you hop into your career, I hope you will be of value to the company and to your team, just like how you did for us.
Alimin
In class, Alimin was the curious one, often engaging in extra discussions about creative agencies and video production. Friendly and warm-hearted, he sometimes took feedback personally, reflecting his sensitivity and openness.
As an intern, Alimin's ambition sometimes led to self-doubt, but he values team support and quality time. His lighthearted spirit reminds everyone that work can be fun.
Limin, now that you’ve graduated, I want you to be confident. Stay humble, but also be confident. You don’t give yourself enough credit for the things you’ve done and achieved. But that’s ok!
Please know that everyone here at AICREATIVV will always be your number one fan; in your journey as a barista or videographer!
Liza
As a student, Liza was quiet and the youngest in the class, earning the “baby” status.
Taking on a leadership role challenged her and though she struggled, she remained driven, constantly asking for ways to improve her communication skills.
During her internship, she maintained her determination; building confidence in her speaking skills and often practising with the team. Her unique phrases, like "Nyeyeyeye" and "Eish" have become part of the team's vocabulary.
Liza, we’re all proud of you. You’ve grown so much but we’re still going to see you as our little sister. Wherever you go, let everyone know your age doesn’t determine your skills and experience. Soar higher and wear that “young” status proudly.
You have done so much for your age and we’ll always be rooting for you. If anyone messes with you, trust that everyone will come to your rescue.
Zaid
As a student, Zaid was hesitant about leadership and decision-making, often questioning his own abilities. Giving him a leadership role helped him realise his potential.
In his internship, Zaid became more outgoing, known for his humorous side and sharp eye for identifying problems, especially in improving financial processes. His lively personality added an energetic spark to the team.
Zaid, we as a team know that your dad will be proud of you, even if he is no longer with us. You are a shining example of an individual who has a strong will. We believe in you fully - even if you don’t believe in yourself.
Stay strong, keep moving forward. You’ll go far. Believe even if it seems like there is no hope. You have your brothers and sisters here.
Muna
As a student, Muna often spoke so softly that she needed to repeat herself and she struggled with feeling like a burden. But her academic achievements and leadership helped uplift her team.
At AICREATIVV, others also had to remind her to speak up, yet her talent as a designer consistently impressed the team. Sitting in the corner, she became the team’s target for light-hearted pranks and her absence is now felt keenly.
Muna, if you haven’t heard of it enough - we are proud of you. The moment you took the mic during your presentation to IBTE, we didn’t see a quiet, shy girl, we saw a gangsta. Your growth makes us tear up.
Please be confident in yourself, because you have so much potential. We all believe you’ll go far, as long as you put your mind into it.
Embracing New Beginnings
Whether you’re stepping into a new job, continuing your studies or taking some time to explore what’s next, graduation is a proud milestone.
So take a moment to enjoy it, savour the excitement and celebrate everything you’ve accomplished along the way.
Congratulations again IBTE graduates and we wish you a successful journey ahead!
