AICREATIVV’s Doa Selamat marked more than a new space—it celebrated the family we’ve built.

Blessing the New Chapter
February 21, 2025, wasn’t just another day—it marked a milestone for AICREATIVV. A Doa Selamat was held to bless the team’s move into their new space, a moment that brought together not just the current crew, but everyone who had ever been a part of this journey.
For the first time, Amal and Imamull’s parents saw the full team—the people who built this creative house, the ones who stayed, the ones who moved on but never really left. Past interns, our go-to creatives, those who had been part of AICREATIVV’s countless projects—they were all here.

As Amaru, Amal and Imamull were preparing for the mic speakers, standing in that space, surrounded by the faces that made this creative agency what it is today, one realization hit:
“We’ve grown so much.”
The ones who stayed the longest and was there from the very start after we turned from a duo to a team is Amaru, Iman, Elroy.

Coming Together, the AICREATIVV Way
Of course, no AICREATIVV event is complete without a hands-on, everyone-pitching-in effort. The day kicked off with barbecue prep, where each person took up a role—marinating, cutting, cleaning, grilling. Some ran around handling last-minute setups, while Amaru, Limin, and Haziyah stood by the fire, leading the charge on the grill.

The menu? Steak skewers, chicken wings, tofu, sausages—all prepared by the team. Not to mentioned the Kek Batik, Cucur Udang, Kuih Pancit, Ideal Spaghetti, and more bakes.

As the food cooked, laughter filled the air. This wasn’t just an event—it was a reminder of how we work best: together. Whether it’s a high pressure project or a casual gathering, AICREATIVV moves as one.

By the time the feast was ready, tables overflowed with dishes—main courses, kuih, finger foods, drinks. Plates were passed around, people formed small circles inside and outside, conversations weaving in and out like familiar rhythms.
Baby Ara ran around saying hi to everyone. Groups formed naturally—some catching up on life, others deep in gaming discussions, a few lost in thought at their workstations, reflecting on how far they’d come.

Then, the night took a turn—someone started up the karaoke TV.
One song led to another. It’s My Life. Baby by Justin Bieber. Dancing Queen by ABBA. What started as casual singing became a full-blown party—a train of people dancing, makeshift party lights from iPhone flashlights, chants filling the air.
Then, the moment everyone would remember—Baby Ara stepping in to sing APT.
By 2AM, we lost our voices, the grill was cold, but the warmth of the night stayed (literally, it was so hot at one point).
Looking Back Before Moving Forward
Midway through the night, before we started the feast, as the team gathered under the garage for the speech, Imamull paused, looking around at everyone.
“I know that everyone here likes to look forward—chasing dreams, breaking limits, achieving goals. But let’s slow down for a bit and look back at the things we’ve done.”
And when you do, it’s impossible not to be amazed.
From starting as a two-person team to standing here, today, with a full house of creatives, collaborators, and family. From being the face of the creative industry at Hari Belia to collaborating with ministries, speaking at events, expanding beyond Brunei to Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand.

From a small, tight-knit team to a group that has grown, adapted, and evolved—yet stayed the same in all the ways that matter.
“But what’s more fulfilling,” Imamull continued, “are the wholesome moments we’ve shared. The ones where we celebrate each other’s milestones.”
And the list was endless:
Ara’s first birthday.
Amaru’s first car.
Iman and Najang announcing their engagement and wedding.
Our first batch of IBTE interns turning from quiet observers to bold presenters in front of hundreds of people.
Inside jokes that never seem to die— “Confidence is key.” “Sometimes…” “Naneng.” “My Team”
Seeing everyone shift their mindset, become leaders, teach and learn from one another.
The late-night gaming sessions, deep talks, and lunch outs that turned colleagues into family.
Haziyah’s graduation.
Zaid, Aiman, Liza, Limin and Muna’s graduation, and how we all went there to celebrate.
Aaqilull, the quiet guy who says sorry after every sentence, turning into a confident person who now teaches people after FLY.
Limin and Mahmud Aziizi going for FLY, and representing Brunei as AICREATIVV.
Elroy winning grants for his initiatives.
Iman finally going back to performing her dance.

And then there were the lessons—the ones passed down not just from experience, but from the people who shaped AICREATIVV’s DNA.
Lessons That Built AICREATIVV
The culture at AICREATIVV wasn’t created overnight. It wasn’t just about the projects, the clients, the wins—it was built on values, resilience, and the lessons carried forward by those who came before.
“Five people,” Imamull said, “who probably never realized how much they contributed to the way AICREATIVV is today.”
From Ayah (Imamull’s Dad): Resilience and selflessness. "Be tahan lasak." Power through the toughest moments and help people, no matter what. That’s why AICREATIVV stands strong—even in our hardest times, we carry each other.
From Father (Amal’s Dad): Breaking limits. "Limits are learned; they can be unlearned." That’s why we push boundaries, chase growth, and embrace mistakes as part of learning.
From Ibu (Imamull’s Mom): Discipline over motivation. "Do it tired, do it sad, do it happy—but do it." That’s why we push through, even when things get tough.
From Mother (Amal’s Mom): Balance. Work hard, but never forget to have fun. That’s why AICREATIVV feels more like play, why challenges feel like puzzles, why laughter fills every project.
From Baby Hafiz (Amal’s Baby Brother): Curiosity and organization. The first one to introduce a "To-Do List" at AICREATIVV innocently. The one who reminded us—when things feel overwhelming, break them down, take it step by step, at least that’s what his Primary School teacher taught him in ISB.

Our motto for 2025 was shared in the midst of the speech. “Kaizen.” Imamull stated. “Which means Change, Good. Small changes, small improvements day by day.”.
“In 2023, we had #MyTeam, because we wanted to hype each other up knowing we just started. It became an inside joke, but we held through - supporting each other in whatever we needed to support in.”
“In 2024, we had #Growth - and we were obsessed. The team grew double the size, the projects grew triple the size. At a certain point, we stretched ourselves too thin. We were burnt out.”
”In 2025, we’re doing it different. #Kaizen.”
AICREATIVV in 2025—And Beyond
Before we started the feast, Imamull’s voice carried one last message.

“We’ve built a team where we can fall onto each other, where we inspire one another to be better people, where we lift each other up. Look around, parents—this is what we built together.
Imamull then jokingly looked at the parents.
As the eldest son and eldest daughter, as rebellious as we are—we’re dying to hear the words from you: ‘I’m proud of you.’”
Alhamdulillah. This is AICREATIVV in 2025. And we’re only getting started.
“This is just the beninging.”

With that, the Doa Selamat was led by Zaid, and the Doa Kesyukuran was led by Father.
Then, it was time to eat.
